Crowning Cards
Crowning Cards add drama, strategy, and surprises to the game. Play them wisely - timing is everything.
Auntie’s Blessing
Claim the crown for the current round immediately. To keep it, you must boldly explain why the blessing belongs to you - whether with humour, confidence, or a heartfelt speech.
The round continues as normal, so you still have the chance to win a second crown.
The Royal Snatch
Steal a crown from another Queen. Make your case with a speech grand enough to justify the snatch.
If no crowns have been awarded yet, hold onto this card until later in the game.
The Double Glory
The winner of the round earns two crowns instead of one.
The People’s Court
Every Queen - including the Reader - must answer the same prompt.
Once everyone has responded, the boldest, funniest, wisest, or most moving answer wins the crown.
The Swap of Fates
Swap places with the Reader and become the new Reader for the round.
You may play this card before or after the Reader has chosen a prompt card, but before any player has given their response.
The new Reader selects which prompt will be used and leads the round.
A Royal Reminder
Crowning Cards can change the course of the game in an instant. Save them for the perfect moment - or unleash chaos whenever the mood strikes. 👑
